The author is a senior officer in the Government of India, from one of the specialized wings of the Civil Services handling trade. His professional qualifications include a Bachelors in Technology, Masters in Business Administration and LLB.
Prior to his central government stint, his experience related to engineering consultancy and foreign exchange risk management. In the government, he has handled work related to formulation and implementation of India’s Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), multilateral trade negotiations at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations.
He is currently posted as the Development Commissioner of the Noida Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Noida and is also involved in the trade negotiations of India with its strategic partners.
The authors passions include current affairs, sports and space. He has also written books on “India’s Olympic Renaissance” and “Scouting for Extra-Terrestrial Life”.
